I tried searching, but want to make sure that I don't brick my iphone.

I used pwnage to unlock and JB my 2G for T-mobile. Unfortunately I forgot to uncheck the pineapple. So I want to redo the process. I also don't care about the JB. I created another IPSW and unchecked all packages, cydia, installer, and the boot logos. I quit the process when it came to the DFU section, is my build good?

Do I need to go into DFU mode to restore from itunes or since my iphone is still pwn'd can I just connect to itunes and alt-restore and pick my latest pwn build?

Also, I assume since I deselected cydia et al, my phone will be basically unlocked but not jb'd, is that correct?

If your iPhone is already pwned and running a custom .ipsw, then all you have to do is use a new custom .ipsw using the Restore + click feature and you are set. No need for DFU again.

By the way, DFU is for 1st time jailbreak or after you restored with a stock .ipsw and want to be jailbroken again.
