xGPS 1.2.5 released, but always crashing

Today in Cydia I noticed that xGPS (http://xgps.xwaves.net/index.php/Main_Page) was updated to version 1.2.5. This is supposed to include voice navigation turn by turn directions.

However, anytime I try to open the application, it just crashes. I'm on JB 2.2 (not 2.2.1) 3G iPhone. Anyone care to try, or having a similar problem?

yep same problem... i just upgraded to version 1.2.6 and now whenever i open it i get the opening screen, then the brightness dims and then it crashes... I have tried uninstalling and then installing it again but same thing happens.
Could this be due to a conflict with something else?

My 1.2.6 worked fine except the voice was saying turn left while the map and the text had a right turn indicated. ( my wife does this also so I am used to filtering those type of directions)

Both 1.25 and 1.26 work for me, but I have had the right/left mixup also.
