Unfertilized eggs yield fatherless mouse

If these same scientists can get two females to produce with a father, then maybe they can get to Microsoft programs to run without crashing. just a thought.

This does show some promise for stem cell research however. Too bad that kind of research is nearly verboten in this country.
 
There was other research I saw someplace where they coaxed a somatic cell to undergo meiosis and make 4 sperm. Now if you were to take the cells from a woman and then dig this coaxing you could have a 2 mommied child with far fewer hoops.
 
We will just have to wait and see where this experiment will lead. Just because it can be done with a mouse doesn't mean that it can be done even with a higher mammal.
