View Full Version : How do i re-name the vista partition? It's called Untitled

The vista partition is showing up on my OS X desktop as Untitled and it won't let me change the name in OS X. Does anybody know how i can change it's name?

Yes, you need to change it while in Windows. And, please search, this has been brought up many times.

in windows, go to My Computer.

right-click on c:

go to rename

If you don't want it to show on the Mac desktop, rename it with a "." in front of the name... something like ".Windows HD"

That will hide it from showing on the Mac desktop
