Nobody will, or should, help you.

Copying games are illegal, Pirating them is even more illegal!

First off, copying games is perfectly legal. You're aloud to make backups of your own games however many times you please. Pirating games, on the other hand, is illegal. Also, what's wrong with helping the OP flash his 360? There's nothing wrong with that at all, just voids the warranty. He is doing nothing illegal by flashing his 360.

To the OP: I'm almost positive it's not possible to flash it using a Mac, but I suggest using a friend's PC with SATA controllers to flash, it's pretty simple.

Backing up software unless otherwise stated goes against the EULA so it is illegal.
I don't know about the process of flashing a 360 drive but wouldn't modifying code to play potentially pirated software also be illegal?

That's untrue. You have every right in the world to backup your data even if the manufacture says otherwise.

It's not your data though, you agreed to a license that said you can run this specific software on licensed hardware. You don't own the game unless you went out and bought the IP from the copyright owner.

There's also no reason to do this. The xbox 360 allows you to backup games to your hard drive, you only need the original disc in the drive.

Which is exactly why you may want to back up your games, to prevent scratching or losing them.

If this is classed the same as backing up DVDs, then it is illegal.

So because of this I went and look up how it is done to flash a drive on a 360 just so I can give you my answer.

Simple answer is YOU CAN NOT DO IT. Macs lacks the hardware to be able to do it.

Also if you are asking this question you are clearly to incompetent to be able to do this modifications yourself. You would screw up not only your 360 but what ever computer you are attempting it on.

Also this is clearly to play pirated games. Backing up is a load of BS excuse. Lets also look at the ogrinal Posters name--- Xtrapster, That looks a lot like Napster to me. Even a bigger give way this is for pirating. Then it is a new member. Even larger. Banned him.

Which is exactly why you may want to back up your games, to prevent scratching or losing them.

If you back it up to the 360 hard drive the games spins up once to read the disk can confirm it is in there then never again.

you can't make as many copies as you please. you are allowed to make ONE (1) copy, and 1 copy only.

Don't mean to bump this but I am currently doing this on my MBP using parallels desktop 6, and an old dell optiplex machine with usb boot.
