A colleague and I are considering doing a political satire video which would incorporate some of Bush's speeches.

The sticking point, however, is where to get the footage in public domain. For a brief moment we thought C-Span footage would qualify, but it doesn't. In fact, they state specifically that they never license footage for the kind of purpose we intend (cable public access programming).

Anybody got any ideas, short of following Bush on the campaign trail ourselves? (Even then, I'm not sure his people would let you videotape him.)

Here's George's State of the Union speech. Well, not exactly -- you'll see.

:D Very amusing, but not exactly what I had in mind.
