Okay so I'm choosing between two monitors and want to know what you guys think would be the best one...

1. LG W2253V

- 1920 x 1080
- 50,000:1 digital contrast ratio
- Analog, DVI, and HDMI connections
- 2ms response

$219 at FutureShop (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0665000FS10119041&catid=27331&logon=&langid=EN#)

2. Dell S2209W
- 21.5 inch viewable
- 16:9

If you're going to buy a Dell, buy the 22" _Ultrasharp_ with a better panel:

You will be very happy with having spent just a little more money.

I've only seen crappy monitors from LG. So I'd go dell. But thats just cause of my bad experiences.

I've used an LG, HP, Sony, Apple and a Hanns over the last few years.
The Sony and Apple were the best the HP and Hanns were a close second and the LG had some of the best spec's but was the worst of the bunch. The LG wasn't BAD it just wasn't as good as the others in a direct comparison even though it out spec'ed most of them. If you can steal the LG, then go for it. If its only 5% cheaper get something else.
