A n00b here with an update release queston.
If indeed 10.5.7 fixes our 4850 problems, when does Apple usually release updates? I've heard Tuesdays. If today, do they do it at a specific time? How will I know other than the many threads on here telling us?

How 'bout doing a Software Update? That should tell you if new software is available for your Mac. I do it on a daily basis ;)

there's really not much of a pattern indicating what day of the week apple releases incrimental OS updates.

Software updates come randomly, whenever they are ready.

Even though the updates can come at anytime, I find most often for me I see updates done at appx 11:30 pm (near midnight) for some reason. But I seen them at other times as well but most of mine for some reason come late at night. You can always click on the Apple icon on the left top menu and choose Check for Updates.
I am hoping that 10.5.7 will be released today. But there really are no set days when they are released either.

still nothing, but I would expect either this week by thursday, or next tuesday. Have they fixed the Safari 4 Beta issue?
