Bottom corner of my macbook's screen (bought last November) is now cracked, case is ok though.

Any hints or tips? Would I have to replace the screen?

Have apple care, but I doubt they cover accidental damage like this...

Cheers, can take piccys if needed...

Applecare won't cover ANY type of accidental damage.

Do you have any home insurance? This may cover for accidental damage to some items.

If you're technically inclined, ifixit.com has both replacement instructions and sells replacement parts.
