I've been taking some MPEG movies with my new Sony digital camera. They play great in Quicktime but if I convert them to .mov, .dv, or MPEG-4 the audio gets lost. All the sound options are greyed out. I've tried demuxing the MPEG using bbDEMUX but I can't figure how to put them back together. I've tried importing the clips to iMovie but it won't accept the audio portion and I can't figure how to convert that into a format iMovie can use. Any ideas?

Never used the demuxing program, but what format does it output the audio to, is there a way to change that?

As far as I know... you can't. I searched for and asked around about this very same thing a while back and nothing ever turned up except people saying to use Virtual PC and a list of programs under Windows. I'd be interested to know if things have changed however.
