Hello, i'm looking at getting a car charger. Does it really matter what kind of charger it is as long as it chargers for an iPhone? I wouldn't think it would but just wanted to check.

Depends what you want. Some come with FM Transmitters, etc. I bought one for about $30 to charge for long trips and use a cable to connect to rental cars AUX ports. :)

FM Transmitters one would be nice but don't have to have that one. Just a regular one would be fine.

dont use the car charger unless when you have to.
the volt of the cig port on the cars frequently changes.
and makes your iphone or ipods battery die faster.
its always better you use charger on your computer or right from the
ac cord.

Your story sounds odd, but mine works fine.
To answer if some car chargers make a difference, yes. Some might short-circuit and fry:eek:atleast that's what I read somewhere...
I have a griffon power jolt which works quite well! It even looks pretty cool too(in my opinion)! Check it out, it hasn't failed me yet (knock on wood:()

I have heard that may times and when we got some new equipment it even said this in the manual. We can charge it with the car charger but only if we really have too.
