I was just wandering what other people think about the excitement of winning 10k in free itunes.
I'm wandering because to me this seems like a chincy and irrelevent prize for reaching an app milestone. To me its indirectly insulting to try to get someone excited about 10k of free itunes...i mean 10k in app downloads would be alot cooler, although that would probably put a tad too much dent in the Apples account.
I'd almost venture to say the Apple company loses more money providing an employee with a piece of birthday cake and some ice cream than they do with giving away itunes.
Edit: sorry i didn't mention the other okay things that are also part of the prize...i simply think the "13k grand prize" is worth about $1500... and the prize is supposed to be a "thank you" for a milestone that symbolizes apple taking over the phone world...nice gesture
