It looks like 10.5.7 release is imminent. Possibly tomm?

I just received shipment notification of my iMac 2.93 w/4850 tonight. Should have it within the week.

Here's to hoping the freeze issue is resolved by then.

GREAT FIND!!!! This is great news considering all the recent problems. I am actually recieving my 24" 2.93 GHz, radeon hd 4850 tomorrow!!! CANT WAIT!! 😀

Nope. another build was released 9J56. Perhaps Monday.

i wouldn't get my hopes up. it seems to be freezing in bootcamp as well, but then again, if apple fixed bootcamp freeze issue too, then it might be a possibility.

What makes you think a x.x.1 update to the OS will fix the freezing problem? The original freezing Alu iMac needed a graphics firmware update.
