So I've got a client that wants a "nice hawaiian font" on his announcement card for an auction and hawaiian luau. Can anyone name some good tropical/hawaiian looking fonts? Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Try Tangaroa (http://davidocchino.com/portfolio/typography/tangaroa.html). It's a new Hawaiian font (http://davidocchino.com/portfolio/typography/tangaroa.html) with a woodcut, primitive look.

A second font is called Tangaroa Glyphs (http://davidocchino.com/portfolio/typography/tangaroa-glyphs.html). It's a free tiki font (http://davidocchino.com/portfolio/typography/tangaroa-glyphs.html) that features over 90 Hawaiian petroglyphs and other tropical symbols.
