Do you think Apple will turn the Time Capsule into a home server like the one HP recently introduced?

No. Time Capsule serves its purpose. There is no reason to retarget this product. If Apple were to introduce a home server, then it would be a new product rather than a repurposed old product. That said, people have been asking about Apple home servers since 1973. Hasn't happened yet.
