I have an MP3 USB Pendrive which I have been using successfully for some time with a G4 running OS9. Also works fine with G5s running Jaguar. Also fine on PCs.
It's actually been a fantastic device, and great for transfering files around.

I recently bought a G4 Powerbook, running Panther (Mac OS X 10.3 (7B85)).
Although the drive mounts successfully and all files are viewable, I cannot read or write to the drive. The following message appears when I try:

The Finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "<filename>" could not be read or written.
(Error code -36)

I have tried it on a G5 running Panther also, and the same problem occurred.

It will usually let me copy small files (under 1mb) but not bigger files.
The drive is formatted as FAT 32. It will not let me format it as anything but MS-DOS File system in Disk Utility.

The pen drive is an AEC i-Bullet, 128mb, the full specs can be found at http://www.aecglobal.com/ibullet_spec.htm I have not been able to find a Mac driver for it.

Just wondering if anyone knows why this pendrive works on everything but Panther, and if there is a solution/fix/driver for it.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
