Nothing really new there. I was sort of hoping to see a screen shot of the Alto GUI - would be very curious to see how much of it ended up in Apple GUIs :D

I imagine the first users of these systems really thought they were doing something big....although I don't think they might have realized how big :D

Thanks for that link. Those are the first Alto shots I've seen. Now we know where MS got the "Start" button for Win95+

wow, that's the first time I've seen the XEROX GUI (I haven't really ever looked, though). Very interesting. Nice find, thanks for sharing.
