:apple:You are chatting with Melissa B, an Apple Expert
:apple:Hi, my name is Melissa B. Welcome to Apple!
Good evening.
:apple:How may I help you today?
hey
:apple:Hello!
I was wondering if you are familiar with the high tier imac w/ the 4850 graphics card
:apple:How can I help you tonight?
I was wondering if Apple is aware that there is a very serious problem with that specific model freezing multiple tiems a day
:apple:I am yes.
:apple:Unfortunately I have not heard anything about it. Have you contacted our AppleCare technical support team for assistance with this issue?
yes, and I sent it back for a replacement
you have to understand, that hundreds of users are experiencing it, and it is well-documented on your official discussion forums
I mainly was hoping you were familiar with the issue and if a fix had been found yet
http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=1110 they are on the front page
I asked teh tech guy on teh phone, and he was unaware of the issue too
it seems like nobody is
but I forgot to show him the link for it
:apple:I am not familiar with the issue. Unfortunately I would not have any information on a fix. All that would go through our technical support team.
I see. oh well
my replacement is due to arrive on tuesday
but if it freezes, it will be going back
:apple:Great! That will be nice for you.
:apple:I can understand that.
yes, but I don't have faith that it will be fixed by then, since you guys aren't even familiar with the issue ;(
this was just my attempt to try to pass the word on
:apple:I understand.
:apple:May I help with any other product or order questions before you proceed?
do tech guys ever help via this chat?
no, that's all, I guess
:apple:No this chat is only for sales questions.
well, thanks anyways.
:apple:You're welcome.
:apple:May I help with any other product or order questions before you proceed?
no

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

this was my second attempt.

:apple:You are chatting with Obed, an Apple Expert
:apple:Hi, my name is Obed. Welcome to Apple!
hey
:apple:Good evening.
:apple:How may I help you today?
I was wondering if you are familiar with the high tier imac w/ the 4850 graphics card
:apple:Are you shopping for a Mac?
I bought one already, and it froze on me
and so I was wondering if Apple is aware that there is a very serious problem with that specific model freezing multiple times a day
you have to understand, that hundreds of users are experiencing it, and it is well-documented on your official discussion forums. I mainly was hoping you were familiar with the issue and if a fix had been found yet.

:apple:I'm sorry about the trouble.
it's just that my replacement is due to arrive on tuesday.
but nobody at Apple seems to be familiar with the issue
and I just want you guys to get it fixed ;(
:apple:While I have resources for shopping in the Apple Online Store, I can gather better resources for your support needs. The best place to start is by visiting our online support pages at www.apple.com/support.
:apple:If you can't find a solution there, I recommend contacting AppleCare. The number for AppleCare is 800-275-2273
yeah, alright, I'll give them a call.
thanks.
:apple:You're welcome.

this is kinda fun, but I'm done. lol

This is about just as pathetic as the guy who hit up Apple support to inform them he won't be buying if they don't update.
