And Apple's popularity wave with the iPod and the PC market continues to grow.......the only way to beat it is to produce a better more stylish, easier to use portable player with slightly less capacity (also known as the iPod mini) :)

I am actually a bit alarmed by this article, if you notice WalMart, did quite well in March, if this trend continues their market share could grow. Apple should be careful when they swagger. There are lots of competitors starting to gain some ground, Apple needs to be mindful in updating ITMS, and keeping prices as low as they can, maybe more advertising would help!

It might have something to do with Walmart's market presence. The fact that they appeal to such a huge proportition of middle to low income America and are solly PC based is probably giving them a helping hand. Apple is seen as expensive and stylish, Walmart is everywhere and budget.
