Not really trying to compete with iTunes. Fills the void left by the demise of Mp3.com. Independent (unsigned) artists can upload their songs which are available as free mp3 downloads. Looks quite good to me.

VERY poor execution. I give them kudos for not doing the interface in Javascript/Java/Flash/etc, but the current "interface" is dreadfully non productive.
Apple (or someone) seriously need to hook up with these folks and provide a front-end interface to this database from within iTunes, THAT would be amazing.

As an outlet for industry "news," isn't there some kind of conflict of interest here? Not that Cnet is known for their journalistic intergrity or anything. :rolleyes:
