Been on a thread-creating binge as of late...sorry
Anyway, I thought I'd post a link to one of my favorite authors/journalists dealing with political affairs...he has written a number of excellent books over the past 15 years dealing with far-flung corners of the world. He is also a regular contributor to the Atlantic Monthly, and his articles are definitely worth a read(many are very relevant to current events in Middle East and elsewhere)...definitely a wise man...so here you go:
