panther freezing in toolbar

Has anyone else had their toolbar have the spinning beach ball, but everything else works fine? It just appears over the clock, and the other icons I have on the right side of the screen (sound, iChat, etc.).

This is happening to me, too. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I can't kill it via the Terminal or Activity Monitor, but a restart is what did the trick for me. I assume a log out an log in would also do the trick.

It's happened twice in a short period starting today. Do you happen to know what the cause of it is?
