We make games. Also, we don't take ourselves too seriously.

"Hot Dog Down a Hallway" delivers exactly the challenge that the title promises: launch a hot dog down a hallway filled with traps and creatures that are intent on destroying your wiener before it can go the distance. Beyond the kid‐friendly yet adult‐oriented jokes, “Hot Dog” adds a new spin to distance‐shooting game by allowing the player control over the object in flight. Tilting the iPhone rotates the dog out of harm’s way or gives it a little bounce off of non‐lethal obstacles.

As if the title isn’t enough to draw a dollar from most curious users’ pockets, the game also features an addictive achievement system, in which only the names of the achievements are revealed beforehand. It’s up to the clever player to figure out what to do in order to get them. For example, collecting a floating glovalready wearing one earns the player the “Double Bag It” achievement.

Hilarious. Had $1.04 languishing away in my iTunes account.

You just got .99 of it.

Hey all, thanks again for all the support. We're really loving all the reactions to the game. I've been trying to populate the website with links and quotes from all of the new reviews (http://www.hotdogsr.us).

Anyways, I came by here to fill you in on something interesting... our version 1.2 update just got rejected by Apple!

We made some bug fixes and UI tweaks, and added in a little bonus for players that get all the achievements... but whoever reviewed it at Apple deemed the application "obscene/offensive". What could they ever be talking about...

So, version 1.1 is still up in the store, and we'll be resubmitting the next version once OS 3.0 is released (it has new parental controls for the App Store). But as for now, get the app while you can and help spread the word! We never thought it would be possible, but now we're worried Apple might actually pull the App from the store!
