Yes, it will be on QT, but I don't think that TechTV will be carring it, unless the hype machine really gets into high gear at Apple.

Thats too bad. TechTV is usualy pretty good to us. They seem overall unbiased, but those geeks on Screensavers tend to lean towards Mac and Linux, I think. Of course, if the dogged Windows, M$ would just impliment a cable TV service that isn't compatible with that channel for "security reasons." Man, I wish someone would flub their accounting.;)

HA! A couple of years ago that slack jawed idiot John Dvornak or however you spell the morons name, gave the coverage of the keynote, and it was horrible. He was speaking over Steve, and insulting Apple the whole way through. TechTV hos gotten better because Megan and Leo really support the Mac, but some of the other people rag on it pretty hard.

I find Tech TV to be obviously really silly, I cant believe that they gave that Dvorkian freak a forum to voice his aged and assinine opinions. I cant stand the the idiotic walrus! This is prove positive theat they are desperate!

I don't think that they show any Mac stuff because I havent seen any, when ever I tune in its all PCheeses! I like to watch BIG THNKERS on it though, thats cool and that new EYE candy show for 3d animation.

Have any of you seen any Mac tips or showcases of MAC's, because I haven't!

There is NO reason why they shouldn't cover MWNY, hell that cheesy channel covers all kinds of silly crap from how to use your trash can in XP to watching paint dry on a ugly beige Wintel case MOD. Yes, last night they were wathcing paint dry!! not a joke,

If they don't cover MWNY then its obvious biased, the entire stationis biased to M$, why is the question!

the only thing good I have seen on techTV was a segment about StarOffice5.2 and a few others like OpenOffice. They showed that you CAN live with out Microsoft Office and still maintain compatability with MS office users. The rest of the time is a buch of WinHeads wanting to overclock ther PIII's beause they think they can download porn faster that way.

If you want to call that choppy, headache of a stream a 'broadcast,' I would assume so, yes.

Other than the last MWSF, has TechTV ever broadcasted any of the other conferences?

They covered MWNY last year. I don't think they even "Tivoed" it then. I'm sure they will cover it again this year, but with the delay and commercials that we saw in SF.

So if the keynote was on TechTV then it would be on the actual TechTV channel? To bad I don't have TechTV... Damn Comcast.

Here's an email I just got from the TechTV folks regarding the keynote:
Hey folks, I bugged and bugged, and finally someone gave me a hint.

I am told the keynote will be in it's entirety, but I cannot promise it will be totally uninterrupted._I also do not have the schedule as yet._ I hear whispers of Brent Larson again, and he did a fine job for you last time.
_
I hope you enjoy the coverage

You mean, besides "live"?;)

It should be 6am PST, 7am MST, 8am CST and 9am EST

TechTV does take commercial breaks during the keynote, but they "Tivo" the coverage so that you don't miss anything.:)
