Good interview, but when he waxed eloquent about Multi-finder, I just had to chuckle. I remember the early iterations of Multi-Finder on System 6.x on the lab machines at my school -- ick!

I'm obviously biased, though, as I was an Amiga user at the time was completely spoiled for it's silky smooth multitasking. (If only Workbench 1.3 hadn't have been so butt ugly!) I remember IBM saying that true multitasking in an OS would require 4MB of RAM. (huge at the time) Meanwhile I had been doing it just fine on 512K and 1MB for a couple years beforehand.
