Best deal on 2008 MacPro 2.8 octo? ( UK )

Having difficulty finding things in all the various threads so thought I'd ask in a new one.

Does anyone know of any good deals on 2008 2.8 Octo MacPros?

So far I've tracked down a shop demo for £1499, and some brand new ones at £1599 in a shop ( they have a few ) but wondered if anyone had any better deals they knew of? £1599 doesn't seem like much of a discount from the £1710 or so they were at before. :rolleyes:

I think 1.599 is pretty good. You are just kind of spoiled from the enviable prices in England ;)
For the same Mac Pro you would have to pay 500 more in Germany right now.

Yeah I saw that one, thats a refurb for the same ( give or take a few pounds ) for the same price I can get a new one. Just seeing if there's a better deal, because at £1500 I might as well just go for the 2.66 Quad :)
