Thinking about buying the dick solo 1800mAh

But then again a car charger might be enough

Is it worth having one?

Yes, I have the Solo. I bring it to coffee shops when I stop and surf late at night and the phone battery is about to die. Nice battery works great.

I have this. I was able to watch movies the whole flight from CA to NJ and my iPhone was still fully charged.

I agree that its cheap.

I use the True Power iV charger, and it allows the iPhone to be charged twice to max capacity. The good thing is that it comes with a flash light at the rear, handy for night photo taking and the extra USB port allows for simultaneous charging of a 2nd device, eg. bluetooth head set or camera.

I have the same one. It's pretty bulky, but I can charge my 3G about 1 1/2 times with it.
