I brought a new 15" Apple LCD Studio display that has an ADC connector (and no power input + 2 USB ports- all fed by the ADC connection)
I am using at home an older G4/350 (AGP graphics). This looks to have an older DVI connector.
Since I cannot connect the two directly I assume I need an a DVI to ADC connector.
Myu questions is, wil this work? Will the display get its power via the cable or what/ and what about the two USB ports?

I belive the cable is meant to go the other way - older LCD w/ newer machine - will it go the other way?

There is a DVI to ADC adaptor made specifically for this situation.

Yes, your USB will still work, but it looks as though it takes up a port on the back of your machine en route to the display.

It also looks like it needs to be plugged in to a wall socket.

Info here (http://www.apple.com/displays/adapter.html)

Hope this helps.
