I added a 512 Kingston RAM, so totally it has 768 MB RAM. I had the 4200rpm hd changed into an IBM travelstar 7200 RPM HD. With air extreme WI-FI card, CD-ROM, not COMBO.

It benchmarks very well as an IBOOK. Check the link

It is compared with another ibook 768mb RAM, and you could see the gain by changing the HD. I really love this ibook, but i seldom travel, so I want to switch to an imac.

The Ibook work perfectly, without any defect, only a little cosmetic mark on the surface. I bought it from Apple in this May.

I want to sell it for $850+shipping. It will be shipped with an iskin for the keyboard and a sleeve/bag for the ibook, and all the materials in the original package, in including the original package. If you are interested, please contact me. Thanks.

eBay's not that hard. You'd probably get a good price there. If you're looking to trade up, places like PowerMax.com will let you trade it in for credit toward a new or refurbished Mac.

Thanks for the replies. I really don't think I need a laptop, windows or mac. And including the new imac I just ordered I have three computers for myself, I don't think can deal with all of them.

Yes, so many people can make use of ebay, so I guess I can too. But it just seems too complicated to me. If anyone could offer me a reasonable price, then I need not read those rules and how it operates. I will wait and then if I am force to go there, then I will.

BTW, I want to say something about my philosophy of computers. It seems the cpu's have been updated too often for us to keep with the trend. That was the reason I spent another 270 bucks to enhance the ibook. I did not bother to buy the combo, as I don't think we want to use a small size laptop to burn cd or watch DVD's.
