I have a TiBook who's wireless reception is really starting to get annoying (a common problem I know, but for some reason it's worse recently). It seems that wireless PC Cards really aren't that expensive, plus since I have an Airport Extreme base station, it seems I could make use of the 802.11g over the TiBooks built in Airport card. Rather than just try the mods to attach an external antenna to the TiBook, a new card seems easier...

Any recommendations on a Card that works well or is well supported by OS X?

I don't use the card slot really for anything else, and I don't transport the TiBook enough to be worried too much about the antenna thing sticking out the side.

Thanks!

I'm using an Orinoco Silver card, with drivers from ioxperts.com .

Works great, plug-n-play, great reception.

It's been two years since I set it up, I couldn't tell you what the cost would be today.
