"Connect to sever" not working under Jag

I can't get my iMac and iBook to see each other over the Airport network with Jag installed with a clean install on each. AppleTalk is turned on on both. When I go to Connect to Server, neither can see the other. If I type in afp://10.0.1.3/ (or whatever) I get error -36. Any ideas?

that's really weird...in my house we have a powermac G4, powerbook and an ibook all under jaguar and each computer can see the other with out any set up, it's great. i don't understand why yours won't work.:confused: is file sharing on?

No, file sharing wasn't turned on, but now it is and all is fine. Thanks.:rolleyes:
