Just got some questions, as I don't own a Mac but I'm already saving for the switch (last holiday season set me back a huge amount).

1) For current owners of the PowerBook & G5 iMac does how long is your uptime without hibernation, and also do u run a server full-time/partime via external hard-drives?

2) with the internal power-supply should I be concerned about heat causing the screen to have burned images, or even burn marks (black smudges) behind the screen like my Dell 17" monitor (its set to auto correction/config always with 1280x1024 res with 32bit colour).

3) Anyone with PowerBooks doing websites while its at home?

thanks.

My iMac G4 once had an uptime of over 54 days, fully on and running folding at home. Then came a Security Update. :(

Don't worry too much. My PowerBook G4 12" usually goes for about 2 days before I restart it, and it sleeps between classes.
