Bluetooth Keyboard problem on initial iMac setup!

The UPS guy just dropped off my new iMac, but my happiness is quickly turning into frustration...

I have the bluetooth keyboard & mouse package. The mouse was recognized fine, but the keyboard won't. I'm stuck on a 'before you begin' screen that I can't get past. I've checked the batteries to make sure I put them in right, tried a different set of batteries I had, and confirmed it is switched on. I even tried restarting the computer, but no luck. The CAPS LOCK key doesn't light up either - Seems like it's dead.

Anyone ever have this problem? Not sure what to do - Help!

Does the green LED by the keyboard switch turn on, at least momentarily, when you turn on the KB? If not, something is definitely wrong with the KB or, I suppose, the batteries.
