I was doing some googling and I found this page cached:
http://216.239.53.100/search?q=cache:r6d4koNOhZoC:austin-cdn-o.websys.aol.com/cgi-bin/shared/nph-proxy.cgi/000010A/http/austin-cdn-o.websys.aol.com/cgi-bin/shared/nph-proxy.cgi/000010A/http/forums.macrumors.com/+macrumors&hl=en&ie=UTF-8
Any ideas?

Yes-
On the austin powers website, as a promo for goldmember, it has a "turn any webpage gold!" feature. You type in an address, it goes to the page, changes whatever the major color is to gold. Someone did it for macrumors. And there you go.

that's so funny - what's the original url for changing a webpage - if you take a look, this one was done on august 4th - that's the date of the latest entries in the forum.
Pretty damn funny.

Odd how it was cached by Google though...
I'll look around for the original site.

its nice, but its a little top heavy - beening a major motion picture with lots of characters and plenty of funky graphics you can get away with it - we don't have much right now to draw from.
Maybe once things get going, but right now if it is anything, it will be sleek, simple, sexy and slick - but not over done.

True, maybe a streamlined form of it. I like that top graphic with the button bar. If we ever decide to try and piss people off we could make it that complex ;)
