After a long wait I finally got my Printer to work
I have an Epson Stylus Colour 580, and I dowloaded Gimp-Print from here http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=15970&db=mac
you install it and then when you go into Print center to select your Printer in Print Center you hold Option while cliking on Add and then a menu pops up and then you go to advanced and setup from there, its really easy
here is a pic of me setting mine up

i don't get it? didn't Jaguar install a whole CD of print drivers? and my Canon S750 still won't print borderless!! so does this Gimp Print thing fix these problems? it'll be good if it does, but i'll still have to wait for them to get to the drivers for the S750. oh well.

This won't help with advanced features (full bleed, etc.), but basically, now that we have CUPS, and printer is Mac OSX 10.2 compatible:

Is there any way for this program to work with Brother printers?
Since 10.2 my Brother MFC8300 doesn't work, and Brother has not updated the drivers!

email the people who make gimp-print and ask them to fix that driver, they are willing to do it, they will do anything aslong as it requested
