Carracho sucks. Messing with all the servers and then the passwords is sooooo annoying. I dont see how anyone can stand it. What I use is LimeWire, it is the best to date, and unlike many P2P clients, it is constantly improving. We need Kaaza, for OS X. And nobody mention Neo because it sucks too. We nead a real Kaaza file sharing program.

his original post stated that he had reached 1000 posts and he was just posting this as a non-serious thread.

however, once it was pointed out that he has only 910 posts, he quickly changed the title and topic of the thread.

Ahhh. I was wondering why the title and posts had nothing in common. :)

Just read my signature to see my opinion of Carracho. No server though, I'm just an anonymous moocher.

When I posted this thread for some reason I thought I had 999 posts... I quickly tried to delete the tread but it would not let me... so I just changed it to another topic... this took me about 3 min to do... in that time I guess several of you read it and posted to it... sorry about that. As you can see... there is no edited time stamp on my original post.. I did it fast enuph that it wasnt warrented. You guys are just too quick...

Carracho is a community... its not like the other P2P networks. the problem you get with the other networks is that you have no idea what you are getting when you download. At least when you get a bad file on Carracho.. you can tell the guy you got it from that its bad so he can take it off line.... at least.

I have been a Carracho user for a long time. I have a server... but its not for puplic use... I dont have the pipe for a real one.. its just for personal use between friends.

Whilst i was at university in germany i ran a carracho server. Got quite a bit of traffic on it too. Must have been something to do with a T3 connection ;)

I've since closed it down, due to lack of time and high-speed internet. Carracho is one of the best p2p's out there though. As has been previously mentioned, you get a great sense of community on most of the good servers.

Ehm, Carracho isn't a p2p program, it's a Server-Client app.

p.s. I mostly use KDX nowadays. Despite of its debatable UI it's an extremely robust and powerful server-client solution.

I run two Carracho servers:

wcn.dyndns.org

earsplitting.dyndns.org:6780

I also run a Carracho tracker :)

tracker-head.dyndns.org

Good luck trying to get into my servers they are both free and always full lol ;)
