Overclocking a video card

can it be done, I saw it somewhere, but didn't know weither it was possible

Some cards can be overclocked. Do a search on the PC video sites they talk about overclocking way more then mac sites do. Also I haven't heard a lot about overclocking since the 3Dfx cards went away they were notoriously able to be overclocked. Also I'm pretty sure that ATI cards can not be overclocked and I do not know about nVidia.
