Hey,

I have been posting actively on MacRumors for almost a year, and most times have been good, but I am afraid that today I am announcing that I am leaving MacRumors. Mostly due to time restraints but a few other reasons. I hope that my 1700+ posts have kept you entertained and that I help solve a few problems. I am proud to be involved with the creation of such a community.

Its been great talking to most of you on which was a fantastic community in which to be involved with. If anyone wants to talk to me I can be found on AIM as EnsigPrs. Many thanks to my friends here.

After having talked to Ensign for a while yesterday...I completely empathize with him. He's got some things going on in his life and feels he needs to minimalize everything going on around him. I should know, as I have a tendency to take on WAY too much at a time...always wanting to do everything. It's damned hard to accept sometimes that a person can only do so much.

Don't even go there - Ensign leaving doesn't have anything to do with Alpha....:rolleyes:

There are so many people who have 'left' - the only reason its being noticed now is that members are starting threads letting everyone know. And in a few cases, its been sensationalized.

i probably shouldnt say anything but... considering how many people left BECAUSE of AlphaTech having him head off and start his splinter group was probably the best thing for MR. i am not bad mouthing Alpha, before he got flame happy he was one of my favorite posters as well, but since he wasnt able to conduct himself in a civilized manner then perhaps its best that he created a place where he can be as mean, nasty, and ignorant as he likes.

sorry for the sidenote, but i think most people who share my opinion have been too polite to say anything. we are sad to see anyone leave, and would have preferred that AlphaTech simply correct his posting style, but barring that his departure was the next best move.

its not fun to see people leave for any reason (ensign, jefhat, alpha) but people have their own lives and things can get annoying around here at times. Not sure why we have had so many public exits (most people tend to fade away...) but MR is young and it will be here if and when any of our wayward members decide to cme back.
