I just bought a HP photosmart 7150 printer and my computer deosnt seem to want to recognize it. It did for like one second, and now it doesnt. I was wondering if the drivers that i can download from apple will do anything for me. I am running a 933 QS/512 of Ram and OSX 10.2.

Thanks

Check the drivers on HP's website. My Deskjet 960C works fine.

hey i just got it to work...

i used the drivers in the jaguar install cd 2

But the curious part is...... the drivers that didnt work on hp's site (1.5.4) are a higher version then the osx 10.2 drivers (1.3.4). Thats a little weird, dont u think?

You might want to update. The latest version is 2.0:

Also, when updating the drivers, you should trash the old ones from the Library and change the Print Center printer list.

When I was fixing someones computer in the lab where I work at school, the Print Center still was using the old driver even though it wasnt there. Make sure to add the new driver to the printer list or it wont work.
