Is it just me or does VPC 5 run slower on OS 10.2 than it did on 10.1? I have had a hell of a time working on VPC the last few days. Thats one of the few Apps I didn't test after I upgradded to 10.2
anyone else have this problem? Anyone have word of an new build of VPC5?

No slower, but its always been slow.
On a dual gigahertz powermac with x.2 it says i am running a 666mhz pentium class processor. (666 and pentium... symbolic? lol)

But not this slow...
did you do a clean install of OS 10.2? Did you re-install VPC clean after an update of OS 10.2?
I have a 867 Quicksilver and I know that VPC was faster before I upgraded.
Maybe I sould have done a clean install... I just didnt have the time to do it.

There's been some talk of a new upgrade to VPC 5 that will allow it to run faster in X.2, personally, I ran my copy with Win 95, and it seems about the same speed. I usually run my CAD program on it, but I didn't test that out this time, I'll give it a whirl and let you know.

I'm running Win2k SP2 on my VPC. I mostly use it to run Forte (JAVA dev from Sun)
