yes, i want a CRT. i am having trouble finding a new one i like, so maybe there is a used one out there that you want to get rid of.
What I want:
17" or 19" CRT
1280x1024 @ 85hrtz at the VERY least
an apple CRT would be nice, but i dont think they fit in those specs do they?
i will also take suggestions on new ones. i will be using it for design and video work using my powerbook.

i will also take suggestions on new ones. i will be using it for design and video work using my powerbook. I use a Samsung (dont know the model number) 19" i got it for 150... It is definetly worth it. Yes the apple monitors meet those specs, but you might as well buy new...

In Apple's high-end CRTs they used the Mitsubishi Diamondtron tube, which has been update a couple times since.
They sell as Mitsubishi, NEC, and Lacie Electon Blue monitors -- the used ones with the newest tube should be SB (Super Bright) monitors in 19 or 21 inch.
