Ok, the time has come for the geek to fork out some $$ for a dual 2Ghz G5. There is one thing that I am concerned about - the two graphics cards that are on offer.

ATI vs NVIDIA - it is an old debate but what I was wanting is to play some games on the G5 as well. I have UT 2004 that plays very well on my PowerBook, that has the 128MB 9700. After cruising over to the xbench site, it seems that the G5's with the nvidia cards are averaging a higher frame rate than the ATI's. Put it simply, which one should I get - the NVIDIA fx 5200/64Mb ram on the ATI 9600XT.

I'd go for the ATI. ATI writes the drivers for the cards, and keep them fairly current, while Apple writes the drivers for the nVidia cards themselves. And they sort of suck.
