I've started another user account for better music production settings, but often want to be able to access the files in that user while in my regular adminstrator user.

Can anyone tell me how to do this. I have gone to network in the finder, local disk, users, then when I go to the relvant file (e.g. Music) there is a little red minus icon telling me I don't have access privaliges.

While I'm at it - can I allow access to administrator files from other user also

Thanks

Zim

ok this is only if you have a few files. there is a more complex method but, this will get your started.

as admin right click on cmd click the file in question and get info.

near the bottom of the info screen there be "ownership & permissions:"
click the detail error the rest is i think you can figure out ;)
