Need help with Mambo Content System and Dreamweaver

I want to take a standard template that's within Dreamweaver mx 2004 and use it as my official site template within mambo.

The official Mambo documentation online is very confusing, so I was wondering if anyone here can help me with this?

I know I need to insert some code into the main index file and i already downloaded the mambo dreamweaver extension.

But I also need to create some sort of XML file and some other stuff....

Any help? Any one do something like this before? Take a template that's already been created within dreamweaver and make it work with Mambo??
