There will be no iWalk. Why?? iWalk is a stupid name, but then again I thought the same thing about iPod. Personally I don't believe there will be an iWalk, its not practical enough. You can do everything an iWalk could do with a portable computer (iBook) plus much much more. For what? maybe twice the price. Your all dreaming about what you really want, but you gotta remember Apple is a business and will produce what can be sold to the masses, not the few people who are complaining about the loss of old technology. Apple thinks different sure, but their brains are still on Money.

Think practical...

G5 will be announced (even though its probably not ready yet and will see many problems in its initial release)

Flat screen iMac

Nothing more, nothing less... Speeds?? Who cares about speeds! All you Mac Heads should already know about the Speed issue. Anyone see a major difference in speed from a 400-500 mhz computer?? HELL NO!

I agree that Apple offering a normal PDA wouldn't quite cut it. What I would like to see is a PDA / MP3 player / HD / mobile phone all in one (small) box. This kind of product could eventually replace the iPod, perhaps.

Personally, a product like this would lighten my digital appliance load, allowing me to carry one little unit around that could handle everything.

I can dream, can't I?
