Although, it's for PC users, MS has launched a video download service-this part is interesting:
'which will provide daily television programming, including video content from MSNBC.com, Food Network, FOX Sports '
Why can't Apple offer something along the lines of that?

This is for "Windows Mobile (TM) -based devices", since Apple don't even make such a device (handhelds etc), what would be the point :rolleyes:

Well, Apple could offer selected daily TV programming as downloads via iTunes or QT-like MS now is doing :

Maybe Apple will do such a thing when they offer the WiFi bluetooth video iPod iPhone, due out next Tues.
