I am about to switch over to Mac but I will need Microsoft Office. I'm just groaning about dropping $150 on the Student edition when it could be going towards RAM or better specs. So if anyone has a Student edition CD they're willing to sell cheap, please let me know! I don't need the box, manuals, etc. just the CD and key. Thanks!!

try openoffice. i believe the url is http://www.openoffice.org
you need to have x11 installed to use it, but ive used the windows version and it's actually a great program and quite full-featured considering it's free
also neooffice (sp?) is basically office but it runs in just plain osx.
both are 100% office compatible and 100% free downloads.

Personally, I think that Office is worth every cent of the 150$ that I spent on it. As you do not want to spend that, you may want to try iWork or an open source app.
