If this doesn't look suspect after the recent updated iMac specs I don't know what would! But the main reason is the lack of space in my new flat. I've just got a new flat with mate from uni, and as girls apparantly don't cope to well with small rooms, I've been lumped with the tiny double room. Unfortunately this means that my plan of having the iMac on a desk with EyeTV servicing my media needs is totally out of the window, and as I'm not going to get rid of my powerbook as its size makes it the jack of all trades, the iMac has to become a casulty of the move.

Its in pristine condition - no scratches or dead pixels. I've upgraded it with Airport Extreme and Bluetooth (using the tiny Belkin USB add-on) and it will come with the Apple Wireless Keyboard and Mouse.

Its the 1.6Ghz, 80GB SATA, Combo drive model and also has 512MB rather than the standard 256MB. I still have the box and all disks. Obviously comes with a Panther and iLife. Any questions PM me, I'm looking for around the £825 mark, but is open to a little negotiation!

your asking price is a bit high considering the imac is about to be updated, and your unit cost £890 new with an edu discount. Also a new unit would quality for tiger, so by the time you add the cost of tiger to your unit...... well work it out.

As for the girls not coping with a small space, bah rubish. Demand a bigger room, youve just been manipulated mate. I've known several girls who've coped very well with tiny rooms while at university, besides women are alot more tidy and clean than guys as a rule, so less space is more practical for a girl :p us guys need room for our mess and clutter!

Good luck with your degree

Cheers for the advice! As for the degree... I got that 8 years ago! Its just a friend from the uni days I've moved in with as we're both down in London Village. The flat was far too nice to pass up on because one of the rooms was too small, and being a (semi-)practical male I took it on. Shame that the iMac had to be sacrificed, but the powerbook is just a better jack of all trades, and having the external drives makes the loss a little easier to swallow.... I could have got the superdrive iMac and now I'd be superdriveless as the PB is a combo. Ah well.

I think the £825 isn't bad, especially as not everyone can get an edu discount, and it makes the iMac around £250 cheaper, but I will be dropping the price.... so....

£800 with Airport or £765 without sound resonable?
