I am looking for a PowerLogix G3 upgrade or Sonnet G4 upgrade. If anyone happens to have one of these they are wanting to unload, pm me.

I have an XLR8 7410LE (rated at 466, but will run quite a bit higher at 100 bus speeds).
As a side note, stay away from the Sonnet.... its crippled in more ways than 1.
I would like $100 shipped for this CPU.

Jeegan had some questions on this CPU upgrade, and thought I would respond here to gather other folks knowledge and opinions.
Your question becomes complicated pretty quick.. but I will try to explain. (Jeegan asked about the 466MHz rating and my comment about FSB).
Basically your B&W runs at FSB of 100MHz if you install this CPU and set the jumpers on the logic board for x5 you have a 500MHz CPU (well within the tolerance of stock cooling).
XLR8 7410LE chips can run much higher. Go to these sites for more info;
www.macgurus.com
www.xlr8yourmac.com and finally
www.daystartechnology.com (where this chip is from)
Most folks end up running the 466 7410LE at 500MHz+ (with active cooling, ie a Fan). Daystar also sells a ~600MHz rated chip which sells for $200+.
Now be aware that you will need a Firmware update to run any G4 in a B&W, not hard.. but it does require some reading and learning.
If you choose to go the Sonnet route, it will cut your FSB to 83mhz I believe (slowing down the entire system, as well using an inferior chip, 7450 if I remember correctly, memory crippled). Although you can find these up to 1ghz and at that speed will overcome its shortfalls (in most people's eyes).
The PowerLogix G3 is a great product, quite capable of 1ghz to 1.1ghz... but (always a but isnt there?)... It will not natively run Apple's iLife and other apps which require Altivec (need a G4 for this).
Hope this helps, I have many references including Ebay.
Also, I recently sold my XLR8 G4 600MHz rated CPU go here to see that:

Darn. That CPU would be nice in my G4 RGunner. Too bad I dont have 100 dollars. Heh, if I did, you'd have a sale on your hands. My stock Apple G4 ZIF only does 400 MHz max (its a 350MHz), and with that I could probably reach around 550 or even 600.
The Sonnets clip your Blue and White down to 66 MHz. Yikes. x.x' What a way to cripple the hell out of the G4.

Sonnet's dropped the FSB to 66MHz, no wonder people were so upset when they were announced... not a good way to go then IMHO.
Yes, I priced this fair here... I expect on Ebay it will bring a few more dollars.
