Anyone had any success with this? I have been trying ever since .Mac appeared to convert one of my iTools accounts to an email account under my .Mac with absolutely no success. I get an "invalid username or password" error.

I'm assuming you're talking about a paid .Mac (stupid name) account?
If so, it should work, if not it is not possible.

I upgraded my iTools account to a .Mac account and it kept my original email address. Except for the .Mac part of it.

You paid for .mac right. If you didn't pay for .mac, you can't convert to an email only account. The conversion thing is to add additional email addresses to an already paid for full .mac account. You can't have an email only account by itself.

Just to clarify - I had two email accounts under iTools - one personal and one business. I purchased .Mac for my personal account and have been attempting to convert the business email to be an email only account under my personal .Mac account.
The most disappointing part of .Mac is NO SUPPORT!!

Why don't you like the name .Mac? I think it's a pretty cool name, much better than "iTools." What name would you have given it?
